Pure i9 not charging

I have a Pure i9 which is not charging. I cleaned the charging points and pads and checked the battery connections. Comes up with E23 and then goes dead. Is about 2 years old, how long is the battery life ?

    Hi,

    You can check that the batteries are properly connected. If that does not work, I think you need the replace the batteries.

    My Pure i9 is completely dead. No reaction on any button, does not charce, no signal nor message, total silence. All cables and connections checked and cleaned. What to do next ?
