I recognise the text in that error message, it may actually have been one of our robots. We make two different models, and each require a slightly different version of the software. If you update via the app, the robot will automatically get the right version. If you update via USB (seems like you might be doing this) then you need to pick the right version for your model from the website. The difference is that one version has 0.13 in the filename (for the original model) and the other has 1.01 (for the newer model).
Then again it is possible that iRobot delivers exactly the same error message if you try to install the wrong software. That would be a funny coincidence.
