Light reflections ruining navigation

We have polished timber floors and lots of windows, when trying to use the robot at any time during daylight hours, it seems to get confused, see's imaginary objects and spends its entire battery trying to go around them. In fact it is pointless trying to use the vacuum during the day, and of course no one wants to use it at night, when we're all home, trying to relax.

Our large investment in this vacuum currently seems like a waste of money.

This needs to be fixed ASAP.

It's the way the robot works. The light reflections cause the laser system to fail. Happens with the lidar ones as well.

    Nature of the beast.

Close the blinds when you aren't there.
