Going Home without brushing

It takes quite a while until he finds his way home (sometimes even a bit stupid logic) I find him battery exhausted quite often- to save battery evtl it is better to switch off motor for the side brush?

As Magnus_lindhe explained the side brush needs to rotate not to deform the bristles.

  • Hi,

We've seen that if the robot drives with the side brush off, it can get folded and deformed. That is why we turn off the fan and the brush roll (that consume the most battery power), but keep the side brush on while going back to the charger.

  • clear, makes sense, maybe the spinning wheel combined with the motor noise makes me think about- thanks for fast response
