Re: Robot needs to pause to charge battery - but all display is blinking
Hi @LaZi,
The old charging station will not work with your new robot. The Purei9.2 docking station has a different visual signature to the robot, which is similar but still different from the Purei9 docking station.
Also, the Purei9.2 models that have fast charging need a different power supply (the one on the bottom picture).
Hope this helps!

Re: Differences between all the models (9.1, 9.2, STN, ANM, DGM...)
Pure i9 (called Rx9 in AEG guise) was the original model released. Pure i9.2 is an updated model which is quite similar but is available in three main configurations, with the battery handling being arguably the main difference. The simplest model uses the same batteries and charges them the same way as Pure i9. The middle model also uses the same batteries, but can charge them faster, and the top model uses larger batteries, for extended cleaning sessions. The 9.2 has a different charging stand to improve docking reliability. There are also cosmetic changes- for example the 9.2 has
no clock or numeric display, as most customers use the app anyway.
The names of these three 9.2 models vary from market to market, so mentioning them here wouldn't help.
There are also differences in which roller brushes are used on some models, and you can set three levels of cleaning power on a 9.2 instead of a 9.1. The lowest setting on the 9.2 is quieter than the 9.1.
Software releases are currently made available for both i9 and i9.2 models, with small changes to compensate for the different capabilities of the robots. All major features to date are available for both robot types.

Re: Difference between models
Hi
All PI92-XXXX models are having a a new low-power mode that gives a much lower noise level compared with the old PI91 model. Thereby it's quite true that the i9.2 is more silent than it's predecessor.
Regarding the difference of the i9.2 models I've tried to sum it up below (comparing with the old i9). There's also other minor differencies but these are the essentials:
PI92-4STN (simplest model):
- Uses the same charging and batteries as the old i9
PI92-4ANM (middle model):
- Uses fast charging for quicker pitstop delays
- Has improved filtration
- Has improved cleaning performance
PI92-6DGM (top model):
- Uses the same charging as the PI92-4ANM
- Have increase battery capacity
- Has improved filtration
- Improved cleaning performance
Please note though that the models could be named differently depending upon where you are in the world but since those where the names you used in your question I tried to correspond them to marks previous post
I hope this makes it easier for you!

Re: remove / delete robot from android app
You can't. If you want to change the name, you can re-do the onboarding and give your robot a new name, but removal is not available for customers.

New Release 41.10
Dear Community,
As we are getting ready for the upcoming release 41.10, here's a sneak peak into whats included....
Power level control per cleaning zone
You can tell the robot to set its cleaning power to different levels for each zone. Kitchen a bit messier than the rest of the place? Boost the power there, but keep it quiet everywhere else.
Better 'Home' Detection with No Go/Avoid zones
Robot knows if it has stayed in its charger and can more quickly realize its position when starting: this means that avoid zones placed near the charger will be respected- previously the robot could possibly have strayed into them before realizing where it was.
Better Energy Consumption
Let's turn off that fan motors and save some energy while transporting to the area of interest
..... and other stability improvements

Resume cleaning if accidentally cancel cleaning
Hi
it would be good if you could undo if you accidentally canceled cleaning at it went back to where you accidentally stopped it.
Re: What features are you working on at the moment?
Hi @Katharina have a look at the latest announcement: https://community.purei9.com/discussion/510/new-release-41-10
Re: No mapping
@Cissi said:
... I would like to make that carpet a no-go zone but ironically its not possible because of no correct map yet.
hmm - if it is not too much of an imposition: Remove the carpet temporarily and let the robot finish its work. After that you can add the desired avoid zone and put the carpet back in its place. Instead of removing the carpet you could simply flip its borders over to make it seen "insurmountable" to the robot.
Re: Why doesn’t i9 try more ways to get unstuck?
Hi Katharina, the robot does have some strategies when it realizes that it's lost. But the tricky part that takes some time, is often to realize when the reality and the map don't match, so it's time to start relocalization. During this phase, the robot will try for a while to follow the map, and try to go around any "unexpected" obstacles by following them further and further away from the original path, alternating between going left and right. (Because, what if it's just a door that someone closed, or an armchair that was moved?)
But if the robot realizes that it's lost, you're exactly right. It will do as you say and first make a local map and try to match that against the global map to find out where it is. If that fails, it will start "exploring" by following the normal cleaning pattern from scratch, but only doing two laps in each 2*2 m² cell, to quickly cover large areas so it can find a familiar room layout or find the charger and use it as a landmark. When it manages to relocalize, it will either continue cleaning right away or recharge and then continue.

Re: Laser Sensor Glasses; Robot Connectivity
We do not advise that you take the bumper of yourself to replace the glass. There is a new part that will make the window harder to press in that you local service station will put in your robot if you get it to them. Please contact support via the number in the application and get instructions for sending in the product.
Hope you get it fixed quickly
