It would be nice if I could set an interval for when the robot cleans. For example schedule mondays and Fridays between 16:00 and 17:00. If the robot needs to charge it does not start cleaning again (if it is ready after 17:00) until the next scheduled cleaning. If it is cleaning at 17:00 it pauses and goes back home, to continue in the same place at the next scheduled cleaning interval.
1.Gently pull all the bristles apart to get rid of any knots or tangles
2.Heat some water on the stove (not boiling but hotter than luke warm)
3.Put the sidebrush into the pot of hot water and watch it straighten out the bristles
4.Let the brush cool down before use again
Having IFTTT support is awesome, but IFTTT response times can be slow.
Since iOS 12, apps can natively support Siri Shortcuts. Apps such as the one we use to control our robots can nominate common commands as shortcuts that users can activitate via Siri. This means you could start, pause and stop cleans via Siri voice commands, all without having to set up IFTTT.
You could also get more creative and incorporate these commands into your own shortcuts and combine them with HomeKit commands.
