Robot launch button!
Usually I have my robots (yes I have more then one ) schedule for cleaning when me and the rest of the family is out for the day. But at the moment my wife is home with the newest family member and having the robots starting in middle of napping or feeding isn´t the best.
So I set up a physical button, in my case a flic (flic.io), that can run IFTTT applets. I connected the button so that one press starts the robots and a double tap makes them go home. I then glued the button next to my entry door so now its easy to start cleaning when you leave the house and stop when coming home.
My three year old of course thinks this is super funny so if you have one of those at home my recommendation is to place it higher the 1.5meters or hide it
Control PUREi9 with Siri
Thanks to IFTTT support you can now control your robot via Siri.
It takes a bit of tinkering, but if you are familiar with IFTTT (webhooks) and Siri Shortcuts app (iOS 12 onwards) you should be ok. An excellent guide that you can adapt to your robot’s commands can be found here:
How to trigger applets with iOS 12’s shorts app and Siri
https://www.macstories.net/ios/how-to-trigger-ifttt-applets-with-ios-12s-new-shortcuts-app-and-siri/
I made three commands for my robot: Start, pause and return home:
Similar to other discussions about IFTTT on this board, you can adapt these to incorporate geofencing and other conditions.
IFTTT is fairly slow to respond to commands. It would be great if the PUREi9 iOS app eventually support Siri Shortcuts. I’ll put an entry in the requests areas!
If you need any help setting up your commands let me know.

Re: New "Wellbeing" app
@mauris This is called "progress" - the Pure i app doesn't support more than one scheduled task per day. The more the new Wellbeing app evolves, the less compatible it will be for parallel execution with the Pure i app. I think it is time for us to let go of the old Pure i app as Electrolux has clearly stated that it will not be supported for much longer.
I think, you of all people, are very well suited to help improve the new Wellbeing app to our liking with your valuable insights! Please give the Wellbeing app a chance.
Adaptive Cleaning Feedback - share your thoughts with us 😀
The latest release of the Wellbeing App has an adaptive cleaning mode that allows you to set different power levels per cleaning zone.
Kitchen a bit messier than the rest of the place? Boost the power there but keep it quiet everywhere else. We would love to hear what you think about this feature and if you have any feedback on how it has worked for you?
- How do you use it?
- Did you experience any issues?
- Any observations and feedback on the feature

Use voice command to clean a zone
Now that we are able to send the robot to clean a specific zone - done within the app today only - I would like to suggest that we also are able to do the same using IFTTT and Google Assistant e.g. to connect IFTTT service to zones created in the app.
This allows us to use voice command for cleaning a zone, rather than the whole house (good for a start).
I have 10 zones at home FYI.
Not sure if it's possible to develop the personal names to be shown in IFTTT when you connect Pure i9 service, but if possible to add a number in the app, and choose the same value in IFTTT (a static one), then it's an idea to connect the personal zone created, and select it in IFTTT with a personal phase or word, which you speak to your Google Assistant :-)
Difference between models
Hi,
Could someone explain a little bit about how the 9.1 and 9.2 differ? I read somewhere there's a difference in sound levels? Are there perhaps any other sensor or hardware changes, or support for certain software features? I'm also curious how the different models of 9.2 differ between each other (9.2-4ANM, 4STN..)
I tried to find this information online, but after a long time search I didn't find much in the spec sheets or elsewhere.
Thanks!
Discover carpets + create carpet zones
I can see that the robot understands when it is on a carpet or not.
While cleaning on a carpet it powers up the vacuum more than regular wooden/tiled floor.
Meaning it can register, if the area below is carpet.
- Carpets could be shown on map (different color zones?).
- Carpets could be coverted into special cleaning zones (carpet only zone) - send only robot to clean specific carpet(s).
Currently there is no way to see where the carpet areas are from app or control cleaning them in any way, sadly.
Robot: Pure i9.2
Android app ver: 7.2.0.8842
Robot software ver: 39.21
Re: Filter for Pure i9.2
Dear Hicks,
Purei9.2 range does not have any one-time or disposable filter. There are 3 filtration levels in all ranges - mesh +main filter+ foam where the main filter a pleated washable one.
The difference in the Animal variant is that the roller brush nozzle is adapted for more fine dust and fiber pick up which is better suited for home environments with pets.

Re: Cant select zones in schedule?
When you say that you want to use a zone to avoid a rug, are you referring to using a CleanZone to clean somewhere else except the rug, or an AvoidZone to tell the robot to clean everywhere else except the rug?
Can you see the zone you are looking to use in the list under scheduled or custom cleaning? Only CleanZones will be listed there as those are the ones that can be explicitly selected. AvoidZones on the other hand cannot be selected For a cleaning, but are always loaded for all cleanings (as long as the robot finds itself in the map for which the zones were defined).

Re: Reverse order of cleaning
You can. Set up the zones. Do a zone cleaning. It cleans the zones in the list order. You can drag the zones in the list up and down.
