You should not need to move the station. How long are you giving the bot to do its work?
On ECO it'll run ~60 minutes. Start with this setting as the more time it runs the more opportunities it has to discover areas - once discovered the bot tries to always get back. If you have a lot of carpet or a large space it could take up to 8 hours to complete a cleaning cycle (run for 60 then charge for 2 hrs, then repeat). Also, check if you have something blocking the missed spaces....big threshold, thick carpet, etc.
Also, make sure you have the latest Firmware/App as you can alert the bit to missed rooms
You can't set the home by yourself. But the robot can move its home if you move the charger to a different location in the map. When the robot starts in the new location it will, after a few regions, recognize where it is in the map. When the robot has finished the cleaning it saves the new home position.
You are close!
Top model: Longer runtime, fast charging, better filtration and better dust pickup
Middle version: same battery capacity as today, fast charging, better filtration and better dust pickup
Low spec: Better dust pickup.
We will also have a little brother that is speced like today's product but it will not have the ability to control which zone to clean.
We have added three cleaning modes for the robots. Silent, normal and power. THe news is the names and the silent mode is new.
The UI is new and there are some new colors in the range.
Unless you have a ton of carpet put it on eco.but 40ish minutes on full power and 60ish on eco.
We are releasing the software during the week. The software should be fully available during the week in the whole world.
Great that you go our mail
They are just dust covers (we call them "windows", since they don't affect the laser line), so as long as you keep the laser openings inside free from any large dust, you should be fine. Also, check so the windows don't rattle around inside the bumper, since they could jam it.
I'd LOVE it if you could get apple HomeKit support - they've opened up the system now so it's easier (and software only) authentication.
Not from my experience. I have some mesh dishes and it doesn't seem to affect his navigation abilities. It's got cameras and lasers, which are way more accurate than WiFi strength
Sorry for not replying. We had an issue with the cloud recently, causing the maps to not update. It should be working now. If not, please try rebooting the robot.
It means that the robot has gotten lost and is trying to figure out where it is.
